This Fall 2016 we’ll study 1 Peter: “Hope Changes Everything: Perspectives for Thriving Spiritually”
GradCru Groups are intentionally designed for a close examination of Scripture with an emphasis on applications relevant to your life and concerns as a graduate student–which are VERY different from those of an undergrad or those out of school at church.
No prior group experience is needed. No homework is required (you have enough to do). Members usually come from a variety of spiritual backgrounds and have different levels of spiritual development. During the Fall and Winter semesters the groups are split for men and women. Men lead the men’s groups and women lead the women’s groups. (During the Summer GradCru offers one combined group for everyone who is in Ann Arbor.)
This Fall we’ll start in September our
study of the book of 1 Peter with the theme
“Hope Changes Everything: Perspectives for Thriving Spiritually”
(even while in graduate school).
We are excited for these groups! Grad school is such a unique subculture, unlike any other in life. We want our time together to be open, discussion-oriented, practical and Bible-based. It’s a great place to make friends, be a part of a caring community, pray together and be equipped to minister to others more effectively.
